The sweet and delicious pancakes were among the most served breakfasts in Greece and all around the other neighboring countries.
A BRIEF HISTORY…
Pancakes come around 30,000 years prior back in 600 BC in the countries of Rome and Greece. On 1st of march is celebrated as ‘ THE NATIONAL PANCAKE DAY. ’ In the ancient period, it is often served with honey and walnuts and is substituted in the place of bread.
It’s not just you only, anyone can after hearing its name. Before your stomach gets empty let me help you to prepare this.
So without wasting any minute let’s start preparing.
Ingredient For Homemade Pancakes :
To make perfect Homemade Pancakes all you need is,
- 2-3 Eggs
- All-purpose flour 3-4 small cups
- Baking powder
- Almonds, honey, and any other toppings of your choice to garnish

A PERFECT PANCAKE :
WHAT A PERFECT PANCAKE LOOKS LIKE ?
You might be thinking after checking the ingredients that, it’s easy to make but believe me.
There’s quite a long process and it’s necessary to make perfect, crunchy, and fluffy pancakes by properly taking the measurements and some points that need to note down, which I’m going to guide you.
- Take a medium-sized bowl and whisk the egg, butter, and sugar altogether. Whisk it until the yolk of the eggs is perfectly mixed.
- Now check the consistency of the batter it should be slightly lumpy but not thick.
NOTE – MAKE SURE THAT THE LUMPS ARE NOT SOLID IN THE FORM OF FLUFFY, SO YOU CAN EASILY PUT IT ON THE STOVE TO COOK IT WELL.
- Take another medium-sized bowl and put 3-4 small cups of flour into it.
- Now, mix both the mixtures and whisk them well.
- Preheat your non-stick pan and apply some oil to it.
- With the help of a spoon put the batter and spread to make the shape of a circle.
- Let it on the same side until it cooks well, you can check it by seeing its brownish color. And with the same technique make more of it.
- Flip it on the other side as well and make sure it won’t burn.
And tadaa …. Your Homemade Pancakes is ready !!
Place it in a dish and now it’s perfectly cooked to eat. You can add some caramel to the upper part or garnish it with cream, some fresh strawberries, berries, cheese almonds, or anything you liked.

WHAT TO TAKE WITH HOMEMADE PANCAKES?
Many of you have questions regarding what to eat with pancakes. I have an answer to your question, you can eat pancakes with waffles, hot chocolates shake, fruit syrup ( like banana, strawberry, or orange ), or can simply take a coffee with it.
CAN YOU SERVE IT HOT OR COLD?
It’s better if you serve hot pancakes with chilled toppings on them. I think it’s the best combination where you can taste both hot and cold. Because if it’s cold it loses its softness and texture and may sometimes get hard which doesn’t taste well.
IS IT GLUTEN-FREE?
Not all HOMEMADE PANCAKES are gluten-free, as the recipe, I show you are high in gluten. But you can make gluten-free pancakes by substituting wheat flour with rice flour. It completely depends on what ingredients you choose for your diet.
Likewise, I stated that you can use normal cooking oil in place of eggs if you can’t go for it.
CAN I EAT IT ONLY AS A BREAKFAST?
In my opinion, I suggest you take it as your morning breakfast. HOMEMADE PANCAKES are really good if you take them as your morning breakfast. Most people go for a heavy morning diet.

Yes! Pancakes contain phosphorus and are rich in source of calcium thus, helps you build good health. Provides you with energy and develops your bones.

ARE PANCAKES VEGAN?
Are you a vegan ?? Looking here to find that could you eat pancakes or not?
If you’re someone who is following a strict diet on eating only vegan so in this recipe as it include eggs so I advised you to replace it with oil. But still, if you’ve add milk into the mixture of pancakes you’re still not taking it. Then i suggest you to go with flour.
So if the batter of the pancakes doesn’t contain any dairy products or the products which comes from animals then you can surely enjoy eating pancakes.
