The Authentic Jalapeno Cheese Fingers Recipe : Cheddar Jalapeno Cheetos

Cheese is always something that we all loved and gives every recipe a superb taste. While on the other side Jalapeno Cheese Fingers make the recipe spicier and give a chilly hot taste.

INGREDIENTS :
- Cornmeal / Bread Crumbs ( one medium sized bowl )
- salt ( half tablespoon )
- Potatoes ( 4-5 big sized )
- Cheddar ( small square shaped )

NOTE – YOU CAN TAKE CHEDDAR AS GRATED ALSO.
- Scallion ( small medium sized bowl with finely chopped )
- Jalapenos ( finely chopped )
- Unsalted butter
- Cheese / Mozzarella
- Flour
- Water
- Chilli flakes
- Oregano
- Refined oil

PROCEDURE

- At first all you need is take a bowl and put the flour into it and while whisking it add water into it. And make a smooth slurry.
NOTE – MAKE SURE YOU WHISK IT PROPERLY OTHERWISE IT LEAVE A LUMPS INTO YOUR BATTER.
- Then keep the bowl of slurry aside until we prepare the stuffed jalapenos.
- Now for the stuffing Jalapeno Cheese Fingers let’s take another bowl and add the mashed potatoes into it , then one by one add the scallion, jalapenos, cheddar, chilli flakes, oregano, and a pinch of salt at last.
NOTE – YOU CAN ALSO ADD THE RED CHILLI POWDER TO MAKE IT TASTIER.
- And mix together all the things well.
- Once it’s done then make small balls of the stuffing by putting a small piece of cheese into it, close it properly and with the same procedure make other balls also.
- Now put the cornmeal or breadcrumbs ready in a rectangle tray or plate.
- Dipped the jalapeno cheese ball into the flour slurry that we made and gently put it into the cornmeal.
NOTE – MAKE SURE YOU COVER IT PROPERLY BECAUSE IT WILL GIVE A CRISPY TEXTURE TO YOUR CHEDDAR JALAPENO CHEETOS.
- Heat up your pan and put oil into it, and keep the flame on medium.
- Slowly and carefully deep fry the cream Jalapeno Cheese Fingers until it changes its colours into golden brown, with the same process fry all the balls. And done it’s ready.
